Call Carpentry Background and History of Work Experience
We originated in Texas with the carpenter union. That is where my father Jay Call, Owner/Operator, gained the basic training for doors and hardware, framing (metal stud and wood) Trim work joinery cabinet making millwork and custom carpentry among many other valuable skills like Leadership training and blueprint reading. He then went to Va after the economy decline in his field of work. We all moved to Va. Started working on Residential homes digging and mixing concrete was the majority of the work I remember; we also did a lot of framing and trim work as well as many other aspects of carpentry anything from doors and hardware panic devices building new structures as well as working on historical buildings and bringing them back to life.
In modern times call carpentry in Va is doing mostly commercial work like car washes, office buildings, and Retail spaces. There are very few people that I have worked with or seen with more of a drive than my Father. His attention to detail and professionalism with production is the best with fair prices that keep him busier than I have ever seen.

Moving to Texas in 2010 was a great move at first it was a struggle to get momentum for the company as I had started with nothing had no capital and not many contacts here in Texas.
Most of the work I got in the beginning was found on craigslist Angie’s List and Thumbtack.
It was in 2018 that I started gaining momentum and learning valuable skills. Knowledge of new materials by the old timers and carpenter retiaries. This is where I learned new techniques and skills to further improve my skillset and knowledge of faster production and quality of work.
Worked downtown Austin of high-rise buildings like Facebook, google 5th and Brazos and other residential and commercial high rises. It was during this time I learned much Journeyman and foreman to those big projects. Also was able to become journey man in less than a year.
This then gave me the confidence needed to branch out further during the down times or when jobs came to an end. Some of the first Jobs we did were building sheds gazebos and big structures for storage and or living space. We also did some restoration and remodeling in residential solely.
Future Plans
We are working hard to expand the company and branch into new markets such as building furniture and outdoor products using repurposed materials and new techniques to reintroduce long lasting and durable products at a reasonable price with customers suggestions for more interactive experience.
We are planning to design and build tiny homes and storage facilities using a wide variety of materials
Wood, metal, composite, fiber, earth blocks, concrete, brick, and stone.
